Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Numae, including the iOS/iPadOS app and related website, provided by Amir Ebrahimi(“Numae,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using Numae, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Numae.

These Terms are between you and Amir Ebrahimi, not Apple, except where Apple's terms separately apply to your use of the App Store and Apple services.

Numae is a personal insight and reflection app for exploring numerology, astrology-style birth charts and timing, lunar context, life chapters, name/number tools, and saved people/profiles. The app may generate symbolic, interpretive, or wellness-style content from information you enter.

Numae is for personal reflection, curiosity, and entertainment/wellness-style exploration. It is not a substitute for professional judgment or qualified advice.

You must be old enough to use online services and mobile apps in your location and to form a binding agreement, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian. If you use Numae on behalf of someone else or enter another person's information, you are responsible for having an appropriate basis to do so.

Numae uses Sign in with Apple through Supabase Auth. You are responsible for keeping your device, Apple ID, and account access secure. You agree to provide accurate information and not use another person's account without permission.

You are responsible for the names, birth details, birth places, and other profile information you enter for yourself or other people. Only enter information that you have a lawful and appropriate basis to use.

You retain your rights in the profile information you enter. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, sync, display, and use that information only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, support, and improve Numae.

Numae may offer Numae Pro through auto-renewable monthly and yearly subscriptions managed by Apple.

• Prices, trial availability, billing periods, and subscription features will be shown in the App Store purchase sheet or paywall before purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID through Apple.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, or as otherwise described by Apple.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID/App Store subscription settings.
• Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.
• Free accounts are limited to one saved person; Pro removes that saved-person limit and unlocks additional app features shown in the purchase flow.

Your use of the app is subject to Apple's App Store terms, Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, and other applicable Apple rules. You acknowledge:

• These Terms are between you and Amir Ebrahimi only, not Apple. Apple is not a party to these Terms.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Numae.
• In the event of any failure to conform to a warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Numae.
• Amir Ebrahimi, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any product liability claims, consumer protection claims, or similar claims relating to Numae.
• Amir Ebrahimi, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any third-party intellectual property infringement claims relating to Numae.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Numae does not provide medical, mental health, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, investment, tax, relationship, safety, or other professional advice. Do not use Numae to make decisions that require professional judgment. Consult qualified professionals where appropriate.

Symbolic or interpretive outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, subjective, or not useful for your circumstances. You are responsible for how you interpret and use the app.

You agree not to:

• use Numae unlawfully or to violate another person's rights;
• enter another person's sensitive information without an appropriate basis;
• harass, exploit, profile, discriminate against, or harm others using app outputs;
• reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or misuse the app or website except where law permits;
• interfere with security, authentication, rate limits, subscriptions, APIs, or infrastructure;
• upload or transmit malware or abusive, illegal, or infringing content through support channels.

Numae, including its software, design, text, illustrations, icons, brand elements, feature names, and other content, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app as intended under these Terms.

Numae may depend on third-party services such as Apple, Supabase, Sentry, Mixpanel, Resend, Upstash, and website hosting providers. These services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services except as required by law.

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated by the U.S. government as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to comply with all applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations.

We may change, suspend, discontinue, add, or remove features at any time. Some features may require an account, network access, subscription status, or third-party service availability.

Numae is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted operation, and error-free service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amir Ebrahimi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to Numae.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to Numae will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Numae in the 12 months before the claim or US $100.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Amir Ebrahimiand its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of Numae; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights; or (d) information you submit through the app or website.

You may stop using Numae at any time and may delete your account through the app where available. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, misuse the service, or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Sections 8, 10, 14, 15, 16, 18, and 19.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Numae that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence that cannot be waived by contract.

• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Amir Ebrahimi regarding Numae and supersede all prior agreements relating to the same subject matter.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
• No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms or any rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required. Continued use of Numae after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
